ABOUT US
What started as endless searches looking for good quality and reasonably priced
goods, culminated in the formation of this business. I found that there was never
much of a choice. You face the option of either buying a cheap product, which is
made in China and does not last, or at the other end, an excellent quality product,
which is very expensive. I never have the option of buying a quality product at
a price one can afford. The company’s goal is to source these products, and make
them readily available to the South African consumer.
The first product to be launched is a range of knives imported from Italy. They
are “Made in Italy”, which means primarily:
• products made from the beginning till
the end, entirely in Italy
• products which maintain the ancient
tradition of the industry and know-how accumulated for decades
• utilization of the finest materials
• the production of the highest quality
products
• class and style unique for the Italian
knives
• creative and innovative designs
Made in Italy products range from fashion accessories, shoes and handbags to furniture
and food, from lingerie, wedding dresses and cosmetics to motor vehicles, toys,
religious objects, taps and fittings and many more. Italy is the homeland of many
of the world's most famous fashion designers and labels, Armani, Gucci, Diesel,
Dolce&Gabbana, Fila, Ferrari and Versace, just to name a few. The country seems
to have a knack of turning out top quality talent, products and clothes that have
a worldwide appeal. Italian style is rightly celebrated as being unique and unmistakable
with its elegance and endless creativity and innovation
From a marketing perspective, country of origin is a way to differentiate the product
from its competitors. Research has found that products, identical in every respect
except for their country-of-origin, were perceived differently by consumers. Country
of origin has an impact on consumers' quality perceptions of a product, as well
as ultimately, preference for and willingness to buy that product. Furthermore,
consumers tend to have a relative preference to products from their own country
or may have a relative preference for or aversion against products that originate
from certain countries.
Why does one want to import products from Italy or other countries in the EU? They
are more expensive than the products that are already available on the market in
South Africa. The answer is quite simple, QUALITY. Quality does come at a higher
cost but at the same time, you have the pleasure and enjoyment of using a product
that lasts. Is this not what we all want?
Keep on checking out our website for further exciting products that are be launched soon.
